Associate, Performance Marketing (Paid Social)

We are looking for a Digital Performance Associate to join our Performance Marketing team. We help clients achieve their marketing goals through quality user engagement on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more. Duties

You will work very closely with the existing Senior Performance Consultants, assisting with the campaigns and programs they run for our clients.

On top of that, you will have an opportunity to work across other areas of performance including Paid Search, SEO, Website Optimization, Programmatic Display, Native, EDM, Analytics, Dashboarding, Website Tracking and any other digital marketing channel you can think of.

Example activities

  • Translate broad media plans and business objectives into tactical, innovative paid social campaigns
  • Execute campaign strategies and work closely with client contacts to own implementation across paid social
  • Create strong, clear reports that demonstrate business understanding by setting out actionable recommendations
  • Maintain daily interaction with client contacts on implementation progress &  update coworkers on project progress
  • Create professional deliverables for internal teams that meet the bounteous quality standard
  • Communicate with media partners i.e. Facebook and TikTok where relevant for troubleshooting and implementation
  • Study for and pass social marketing platform certifications to develop foundational knowledge
  • Continuously further expertise in digital marketing, with an emphasis on paid search
  • Learn independently and from team members with more experience
  • Consistently meet department and client deadlines
  • Remain current in a quickly evolving industry
  • Carefully track and record billable time

Experience

  • 1-2 years experience working in, but not limited to, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads
  • Some experience independently managing digital media campaigns
  • Agency and/or consulting experience (preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to project manage, meeting department goals within budget and established timelines
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing tactics to resolve problems
  • Ability to perform business and competitor analysis and project management tasks
  • Experience in Google Sheets or Excel

Consultant, Performance Marketing (SEO)

We are looking for a Digital Performance Consultant to join our Performance Marketing team. You have experience in SEO strategy and implementation. You are passionate about SEO in driving business value, not just keyword rankings. You are an SEO all rounder who is an expert on the tools, especially Google Search Console, but also Screaming Frog, Moz, PageSpeed Insights. You can translate the data into website improvements that actually make a difference and have the skills to implement them yourself, or provide a clear brief to other experts. You are clear in communicating the how (and why) of your recommendations, and comfortable implementing SEO tactics yourself and briefing others to help. You are comfortable communicating with clients, advocating for organic search, and presenting to a group. If you are eager to expand your skill set, and build your experience “on the tools” this is the role for you.   • Technical Audit & Recommendation – Examine a client’s website from a technical perspective and make prioritized recommendations. Provide briefs to developers to implement technical changes.
  • On Page/Content Analysis & Recommendation – Examine a client’s website and make recommendations for improvement of their content in line with keyword research. Provide specific briefs to content writers and write/edit content when required.
  • Off Page – Identify opportunities for a client to build their backlink profile and provide recommendations on implementation.
  • Strategy – Clearly communicate the role of organic traffic / SEO activity in the wider digital marketing to clients and stakeholders.
  • Advice & Guidance – Assist clients with integrating SEO best practice into their content/marketing activity and ways of working.

Digital Producer

You are experienced digitally-led Project Manager, Producer, or Senior Account Manager, and looking to further your career and help manage multiple, simultaneous client activity for medium-sized client organisations. You are keen to gain more experience on a range of technical and campaign based projects (data and insights programs, websites, social marketing campaigns) and help manage your client’s expectations, and report the project progress against agreed milestones. THE ROLE

  • Defining and scoping projects with the client and wider Sonar team
  • Suggesting creative solutions to the client’s problems
  • Being a key internal team contact (together with the Client Services Director) and communicating to multiple stakeholders frequently

You will help manage the portfolio of digital interaction and platform interface design for Sonar Group. This includes working collaboratively with our development and data teams to create and implement best-in-class design experiences for our clients, across devices, screens, and channels.
