Sonar Group is looking for a Social Media Consultant to join our world-class team. Sonar Group is looking for the right candidate to help clients integrate our analysis-driven approach with their digital strategy and goals. Our team members work closely with user experience, creative, development and client relationship teams to deliver an exceptional, results-focused actionable analytics and optimization program that drives clear ROI. We’re looking for a passionate and strategic digital manager to join our team.

The Consultant will manage the Social Media needs for a portfolio of clients.  This includes managing the owned social platforms (mostly Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of our clients including ongoing content calendars, paid campaigns, re-targeting programmes, and monthly insights and analytics. In this role you will be hands on and client facing.

The opportunity is that you are able to grow these existing clients and coupled with new business are able to grow a practice. The successful candidate will be strategic and analytical, and be passionate about getting results.  They will be a valued member of the team in being client-facing and able to integrate with a variety of stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facebook and Instagram campaign management including audience targeting and ongoing management and optimisation
  • Manage the content calendars and campaigns for a portfolio of clients including creating the calendars, managing boosting, and offering insights and results
  • Training clients on basics of Facebook and Instagram as well as more advanced clients and teams
  • Provide thought leadership on the direction of these platforms to ensure our clients are up-to-speed and able to leverage the platforms to help their businesses
  • Develop project estimates
  • Interface with Account, Client and other Stakeholders to request and share information
  • Lead measurement thinking, including return on investment

Experience

  • 4+ years relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of planning and executing qualitative marketing research methodologies and facilitation techniques
  • 2+ years experience with Facebook and Instagram custom audiences and Ads Manager
  • Ideally exposure with listening tools including Lexer, Synthesio, Nuvi
  • Exposure and use of Google Analytics

Analytics Consultant

You are an experienced data analyst looking to further your career and help manage multiple, simultaneous client activity for medium-sized client organisations. You are keen to gain more experience on a range of technical and campaign based projects (data and insights programs, websites, social marketing campaigns) and help manage your client’s expectations, and report the project progress against agreed milestones. You are accountable, responsible, organised, detailed and a clear communicator. You are also a strategic and creative thinker, you love data, and relish solving clients’ problems. The successful candidate will not only be a ‘numbers detective’ and understand the nuances of different tools in generating meaningful reporting, but also be a valued member of the team in being client-facing and able to integrate with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Perform analysis on quantitative data, supports and organizes qualitative research
  • Develops documentation relating to tagging specifications and implements tags where necessary
  • Prepare reports and summaries based on analysis
  • Deliver presentations of research findings to clients
  • Prepare estimates to support specific research projects
  • Support continued development of new research products and processes
  • Interface with Account, Client and other Stakeholders to request and share information
  • Manage digital performance campaigns including Paid Search including keyword strategy, account set-up and ongoing optimisation
  • Manage of Facebook including audience targeting and ongoing management and optimisation
  • Lead measurement thinking, including return on investment

Experience

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of planning and executing qualitative marketing research methodologies and facilitation techniques
  • Ideally 2-3 years experience with Omniture, Site Core, Web Trends, Coremetrics or Google Analytics
