The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience working in a facet of digital performance - could be SEO, Paid Social, Email Google Ads or Google Analytics. This is a great role for someone who has some exposure to an aspect of digital performance and looking to learn more across a wider set, ultimately building themselves into a digital performance consultant – able to connect a client’s business objectives through to an appropriate strategy across platforms/digital marketing tools. You will work very closely with the existing Senior Performance Consultants, assisting with a wide variety of digital performance activities. This role is client facing. Our clients will value your opinion and ability to think strategically. Client / Account / Project Management
Having frequent client interaction around project or campaign implementation progress, liaising around upcoming meetings and agendas, and updating shared tools like project plans, client WIPs and media plans.
Strategy
Provide support for the Lead Consultants in terms of translating broad media plans and business objectives into tactical, innovative paid social campaigns.
Campaign Execution/Implementation
Execute campaigns with the oversight of the Lead Consultants.
Reporting / Analytics
Learn how to create strong, clear reports that demonstrate business understanding by setting out actionable recommendations, so you feel comfortable playing a more lead role here in the future..

Sonar Group is looking for a Full-Stack Developer with experience scoping, building, and implementing world-class web applications, to join our Melbourne based team. The role is for a passionate technical developer who is an expert PHP and FED developer, along with experience in Drupal, JS, React frameworks, back-end systems, service integrations, and technical solutions architecture. The right candidate will be capable of taking on a strategic technical role in our growing digital consultancy and will help drive the technical development and connected capabilities within the business.
THE ROLE
This role will will be integral to the delivering on Sonar’s technical capabilities, as well as require the person to implement and maintain their code for larger programmes, whilst being supported by our FED and wider Sonar team as required. The Lead Digital Producer is a critical member of the Sonar Team owning overall digital delivery, the evolution of our project management offering, leading the PM team, and also acting as the primary point on key clients where digital production is our core service. The role requires a strong mixture of: interpersonal, communications, organisational, strategic and creative thinking to support the often concurrent and diverse mixture of work that flows through the agency during any given month. This role leads and manages a suite of clients with a strong focus on website development, and support & maintenance (SAM) activities. This will be supported by the Directors, the team of Developers, Designers and Performance Consultants based on client commercial scope of work. The role also includes managing at least 2x direct Producer/PM reports and supporting/activating their ability to add value to the business and clients. Additionally, this role will see you as an integral part of the Sonar Management Team, helping drive the business into future phases of growth and capability maturity.
You are currently a Digital Producer and have at least 3-years+ practical experience either agency or client side working across digital marketing activities – with a focus on web development and ecommerce support. You have experience delivering large projects as well as Support and Maintenance (SAM) programmes. You are looking to enhance your career in digital marketing and seeking an exciting challenge as part of a growing digital consultancy. You are adept at managing team & client expectations, reporting progress against agreed milestones to team and managers, and feel comfortable to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into a range of exciting digital marketing activities.
You know waterfall and agile methodologies and can apply principles of both depending on client / project need. You are also familiar with different project management and operational tools including task/ticket management and the implementation of resourcing plans and task/project schedules to help our Technical team to deliver. You love working within a team and are great with people in general. You are accountable, responsible, organised and detailed. You are also a strategic and creative thinker, and relish solving clients’ problems. Importantly, you are keen to be part of a growing team that has high ambitions and a dedicated focus to helping its clients improve their business performance through the implementation of smart, digitally led, accountable means.
