2024 Australian Marketers Benchmarking Report
We are proud to present our annual Australian Marketers Benchmarking Report for 2004.
We had 82 respondents to the report this year, with 74% in a ‘Head of’ or ‘Chief’ role.
A few key findings:
- 88% reported feeling the effects of inflationary pressures, varying significantly by industry
- 76% of Marketing budgets to stay the same or increase
- Largest opportunity is in Generative AI, and the top area that marketers are (a) looking for outside help, and (b) looking to upskill their teams
If 2023 was the year Australians discovered generative AI, 2024 is the year they started leveraging this technology and are on their way to creating tangible business value.
