Enhancing the digital experiences of Australia's greatest home builder.

The objective.

Porter Davis was embarking on the next step of their journey and bringing the ‘Respect’ to the Queensland home market. These homes have been specially designed to suit the Queensland lifestyle while delivering the exceptional Porter Davis customer service that Victorians have grown to love. The first display home opened its doors in December 2016 at Display World, Rochedale Estates. With very aggressive launch timings, Sonar was required to emulate the main Porter Davis website experience and launch the QLD platform with the key objective to drive house sales enquiry and conversion. The site needed to be highly scalable and functional for future interaction opportunities. Additionally, Sonar was required to consider the connected experience from web, to email, to in-display home touch screen experiences nationally.

The solution.

Sonar worked with the QLD and national communications teams to implement a range of digital experiences and programs that are specifically designed to drive increased house product enquiry and help develop brand equity. This includes websites, smart forms, email programs, touch-screen display units, and analytical reporting dashboards.

The results.

The QLD launch exceeded expectations. The website has already converted 4-times projected sales enquiries and now has an active enquiry pipeline worth millions of dollars. The Sales Team are all using the website as a true utility, as part of their active prospecting and the brand will now be releasing a range of new functionality to satisfy user requests for even more interactivity. Additionally, the Porter Davis display home experience is now fully connected to the rest of the key website, World of Style, and other digital lead generation platforms that make up the holistic customer sales experience.
